# Setup access rules for subscriptions

If you are using Veriam CIAM as well: See [Set up access controls](/for-providers/ciam/set-up-access-controls.md) sections.

If you are only using Veriam Subscriptions, and do not want to use our fine grained access controls, then:

* Configure a simple policy with an 'Allow' outcome. 
* Add this policy as the default policy on all your plans in the Access section. 
* We will then authorize all users to your applications that have an active subscription from you.
