Unsupported use cases
While Veriam supports a wide range of provider and access models for digital applications, there are currently specific scenarios that fall outside our supported scope. These are important to highlight so you can determine whether Veriam is the right fit for your access control needs.
Businesses selling physical goods
Veriam is designed to operate as a secure intermediary between users and digital applications or services. As such, we do not support businesses whose primary offering is the sale or fulfillment of physical goods.
Why It’s Unsupported
Veriam does not handle logistics, inventory, fulfillment, or physical delivery.
Our architecture is built around digital identity, authentication, and access control, not physical commerce.
The end-user interaction in Veriam assumes access to a digital product or experience (e.g., an app, dashboard, service, or digital content).
Example of unsupported use: An e-commerce platform selling books, apparel, or electronics would not be compatible with Veriam unless its core offering includes a digital access layer (e.g., online course content, digital downloads, etc.).
Currently Unsupported: B2C Access Models
At present, Veriam is designed for B2B (business-to-business) businesses, or provider-to-organization use cases, where access is managed through policies, roles, or account-based rules in an organizational context.
We do not yet support B2C (business-to-consumer) models where:
Individual consumers directly purchase and access applications,
There is no organizational affiliation,
And access might be tied to billing, subscriptions, or direct user purchases.
Status: In Development
Supporting B2C workflows is something we are actively exploring, but it is not yet available. We're working to address:
User-level access provisioning without organization-level context,
Native support for user payments and entitlements,
Consumer-oriented identity flows.
Note: If you're a provider with a B2C application and are interested in early access or sharing requirements, we’d love to hear from you.
